A beautiful understated antique single cut diamond 3- stone trilogy ring crafted in 18ct gold and platinum that dates to the Art Deco era. Trilogy rings represent past, present and future and they are a popular choice for engagement and anniversary rings.
This is a very slim ring set with tiny diamonds that are old cut, the stones have small tables with high crowns and they are not exactly identical as you might expect to find in an antique ring that is not mass produced. The diamonds are claw mounted into a platinum illusion setting which gives the effect of an discreet line of diamonds across the front of the ring. Knife edge shoulders flank the diamonds graduating to a slightly thicker band at the back.
The ring is quite a large finger size (size S, US size 9) and it is in beautiful gently worn condition. Subtle and elegant this sparkling graceful ring would make an lovely engagement ring or a unique wedding band, it is perfect for stacking with other antique rings and looks gorgeous paired with slender bands.
