A beautiful and classic Edwardian carved 9ct gold boat ring bearing historical hallmarks for Chester 1911. The assay office closed its doors in 1962 so Chester hallmarks are particularly sought after and desirable today.

This elegant beauty covers the whole front of the finger with 3 deep burgundy red juicy garnets and 2 small bright white diamonds. The ring sits nice and high from the finger with carved gold scroll work to the top and bottom and fanned motifs at the shoulders. A gold fully enclosed under gallery protects the stones and gives the ring plenty of substance. Gorgeous ring from an era of bygone elegance, it looks exquisite from every angle and will invite plenty of compliments!

MATERIALS: 9 carat yellow gold

GEMSTONES: Presidium tested, 3 round rose cut garnets, central stone approx. 1/3ct with the 2 flanking stones at 1/4ct each. 2 transitional cut diamonds at .04cts each

WEIGHT: 1.3 grams

MEASUREMENTS: Front 18mm across and 6.75mm top to bottom. The ring stands approx. 5mm high on the finger. Shoulders 3.7mm sloping to a back band width of 2.2mm

HALLMARKS: Stamped 3 wheat-sheaves and sword for Chester, 9-375, date letter curly 'L' and makers mark 'AM'

SIZE: 5-3/4 US, L UK and 51.5 EU. Sizing is available for an additional fee although sizing of this ring will likely affect the hallmarks

DATE: Circa, 1910, Edwardian

CONDITION: In good antique condition, some very light surface wear as to be expected in an antique ring that has been well looked after, the gold carving still lovely and crisp and the stones bright and lively. Please see photos and the video if you have that option.
