This superb vintage 1950s Austrian crystal floral necklace is stunning and top drawer quality. Collar length with an extender it can be positioned perfectly so it nestles enchantingly at the throat.
The necklace is a bib style with lots of attention to detail, the aurora borealis stones are full of fire and ice and set into tall cupcake settings with stabilizing bars between the links. The necklace is thickly plated in silver rhodium plating which complements the misty grey colour palate of the stones beautifully.
Perfect for formal wear or the Deco inspired bride full of antique sparkle, every movement catches the light, weighty, ethereal and so obviously upscale vintage, it's a show stopper!
The necklace measures 14" (35cm) the chain extender adds another 2" (5.5cm) for a perfect fit. Condition is excellent with no issues whatsoever. There is no markers mark on this necklace but it is possibly a Schoffel & Co., Austria piece, it certainly compares favourably quality wise.
