The swinging 60s spring to mind with this fantastic 9ct gold novelty pendant charm fashioned as a bowling ball and skittle. This is a puffy hollow charm and a generous size so perfect for wear on a pendant as well as a chunky charm bracelet.
It is fabulously detailed with impressions for the finger holes and the size on the ball with the skittle having a little logo on the side and a crown around the neck. The jump rings are soldered and stamped 9ct with the skittle hallmarked '9-375', leopards head for London, date letter 'k' for 1965 and 'FM' for Fred Manshaw a manufacturing jeweller who were located in Hatton Garden, London.
The charm measures approx. 1-1/2" high (33mm) and weighs 2 grams. It is in excellent vintage condition, a couple of tiny dings as you might expect with a hollow charm but nothing detrimental.
Our photographs are taken with a magnified macro lens to show you every tiny detail, any scratches or blemishes that may appear are invisible to the naked eye. The ball is perfectly round and not misshapen as it appears in a couple of the photos - the dark areas are camera shadow not dents.
