These stylish and feminine antique 9ct gold Art Deco era earrings feature carved orbs of striking Scottish banded onyx often called bulls-eye agate, The onyx is a natural undyed colour, its a lovely warm deep brown banded in dramatic shaded lines. Each orb has slightly different markings as you'd expect in stones that have formed naturally in the earth and they suspend from elegant flat link gold chains that are attached to small gold studs at the top. The earrings fasten with gold butterfly backs.

HALLMARKS: earrings none, butterfly backs stamped '375' and '9ct'. We have acid tested and verified the studs are solid 9ct gold

DATE: 1920's, early Art Deco
CONDITION: in very, very good antique condition with no damage to the agates. The butterfly backs aren't exactly identical but they are a tight fit and fasten securely
