Hallmarked for the year 1909 it is crafted in gleaming sterling silver and beautifully embossed in a gorgeous Art Nouveau design. We have added a new Italian sterling silver 22" long Belcher chain for immediate wear (if you prefer a shorter chain we have them available in an 18" length too).
Used by Victorian and Edwardian ladies to fasten the tiny buttons on their gloves this delightful silver hook is wonderful for layering with other antique pieces or wearing alone as a fun signature piece, a unique gift for the lover of antique jewellery!

HALLMARKS: pendant stamped 'lion passant' for sterling, 'anchor' for Birmingham, date letter 'k' for 1909 and makers mark 'AL.Ld' for Adie & Lovekin Ltd. Chain stamped '925'
