This beautiful love-heart antique locket dates to around 1910 - an Edwardian to early Art Deco period piece. Streamlined and graceful it is machine engraved in geometric linear patterns with pretty floral accents in a different design on each side.
Rendered in subtle rose gold- that lovely pale reddish hue seen in old gold, the locket has an elegant squared off profile and opens from the side to reveal 2 stations for your precious photos. It suspends from a rose gold jump ring that is stamped '9ct' and a generous size so you can happily attach your favorite gold chains. The locket itself isn't marked and we have acid tested and verified that it is solid 9ct gold.
In very good antique condition with light surface wear and signs of use in keeping with age it closes securely with a solid snap.
