A beautiful Victorian 15ct gold pendant boasting a simply gorgeous oval cut plump Scottish citrine of almost 21 carats.
The citrine, known as a "Cairngorm" in Scotland after the Cairngorm mountains where it is mined, is a beautiful deep rich golden brown. Dark citrines like these are uncommon and the natural 'feather' inclusions deep within this distinctive stone add to its unique appeal.
The sparkling citrine is superbly cut with facets on the table top and the pavillion underneath. It is mounted in a warm rosy gold traditional "spectacle" setting that showcases the glorious gemstone from every angle, you can wear this pendant with either side facing, she's elegant, chic and full of old world charm.
A 15ct gold jump ring, safely soldered closed, completes this lovely antique pendant. The pendant can be purchased with the dainty 9ct gold 16" fine curb chain shown on the photos if desired, or you can purchase the pendant alone if you prefer.

CONDITION: in very, very good condition with light surface wear and a couple of tiny nibbles as you would expect in an antique solitaire gemstone pendant. The citrine is securely set and shows natural inclusions throughout as you would expect in a natural earth-mined gemstone.
