An adorable antique early Victorian silver Scottish "Luckenbooth" pendant in the shape of an crowned heart
The heart pendant is set with glowing golden yellow citrine gemstones known in Scotland as "Cairngorms" An oval facet cut citrine decorates the centre, the stone has unique 'feather' inclusions deep within and it is framed by 6 small round citrines set into deep bezel cups. The gemstones have been tested and verified using a Presidium Gem Tester.
The silver setting is decorated a hand chased and engraved line and dot pattern and a fan-shaped bale completes this lovely "Cairngorm" pendant in the beloved motif and gemstone of Scotland.
We have added a new Italian sterling silver 18" fine curb chain so this pendant is ready to wear right out of the box.

CONDITION: in good antique condition, some surface wear as you might expect in a pendant this age, there is a scuffing and chips to the facet edges of the smaller gemstones, please see the close-photos.
