A beautiful antique sterling silver Victorian brooch engraved on the front with ivy surrounded by a pretty pie crust scalloped border accented with milgrain beading. The clinging ivy symbolised everlasting love and affection to the Victorians so these delightful brooches were often given as love tokens to sweethearts and wives.
The brooch is hollow so it is puffy and nice and dimensional and it has a sturdy pin back with a t-hinge and c-clasp. If you are looking for an elegant antique piece that will instantly lift your dark winter wardrobe out of the doldrums, this may be the ideal little trifle for you. A sweet silver accent accessory good for the gents and the ladies.
