A dainty and very pretty Victorian 9ct gold fob pendant set with a glowing purple amethyst glass 3-sided paste stone that spins. With its refined proportions this is bound to be a small fob made specially for the ladies.
The warm old 9ct gold frame that holds the beautifully faceted stone is just as pretty, fashioned as a classic curb chain with a bead style bale at the top and a 9ct gold jump ring ready to attach to your favourite gold chain.
If desired this pendant can be purchased with the dainty 9ct gold 16" fine curb chain as pictured - or you can purchase the pendant alone if you prefer. The chain is new and stamped 375 for 9ct gold on the clasp.

GEMSTONE: amethyst glass (paste) measuring approx. 18x11mm
MEASUREMENTS: pendant 1-1/8" (3cm) tall from the top of the jump ring to the base, 7/8" (2.2cm) wide. Jump ring 5.5mm. (Optional chain is 16"/41cm)
DATE: circa 1880, Victorian
WEIGHT: 4.5 grams (pendant only)
HALLMARKS: stamped with a tiny '9-375' on the chain link at the top.
CONDITION: In very good antique condition with just light age related surace wear and some tiny nibbles to the facet edges of the stone which is securely set within the frame. Please see the photos.
