The perfect example of high quality upcycling this exquisite necklace started life as a charming Victorian sweetheart brooch that is hallmarked for Chester in 1900. Chester silver is always desirable, the assay office closed in 1964 resulting in these historical hallmarks becoming sought after.
This silver sweetheart brooch forms the central section of the necklace, it features an adorable heart and ribbon motif that is decorated in rope trim and raised shamrocks. The outer edge is accented in silver beads. A skilfully recreated piece, there is no trace of the original brooch fittings and the beauty of the bead work decoration is added to with the addition of beaded swivel loops at each end that connect to antique silver cable link chain.
A unique and sustainable Victorian necklace and a gorgeous love and good luck token, she is infinitely wearable every day!

CONDITION: in excellent refurbished antique condition. Note any dark spots are reflections. This necklace lies beautifully when worn.
