Statement size this fabulous vintage 1960s curb chain bracelet has a charming heart padlock clasp and is crafted in bright buttery yellow 12ct Rolled Gold. An absolute classic bracelet that never goes out of fashion!
Super quality with all the links soldered closed this bracelet is chunky and bold but the thick links are hollow so it is fairly lightweight and easy to wear.
The bracelet fastens at the front with a love heart shaped padlock, no key is required for the padlock, the clasp simply pushes in at the nub to open the hasp and then snaps securely closed. A built in safety chain adds to the delightful decoration.
Rolled gold (gold filled) jewellery is made by mechanically bonding a layer of solid gold over a harder base metal. The thickness of gold used is typically 20 microns or more so it is a high quality and durable finish that lasts. Rolled gold jewellery looks and feels like solid gold jewellery but you won't have to break the bank to buy it!

CONDITION: the chain links are in very good vintage condition with minor wear. The padlock shows more wear with tiny dings and surface scratches but nothing detrimental and it is in perfect working order snapping closed securely. Overall there is no wearing away of the thick gold overlay, this bracelet really does look like the real thing!
