This incredible 30 carat natural Baltic amber ring is a fabulous vintage statement piece. Hailing from the 1980's the amber has superb variegated colouring ranging from opaque butterscotch yellow to a translucent cognac colour. The amber is polished to a glossy high shine and carved into an abstract free-form pear/teardrop shape that lends itself beautifully to its organic nature.
The ring is finished in a minimalist silver band that is pegged into the back and also reinforced with epoxy resin. The ring weighs 6.3 grams with the weight of the silver band negligible. 1 gram of amber equals 5 carats so since almost all of the weight of this piece is amber we estimate carat weight to be in excess of 30 carats.
The ring provides incredible finger coverage so if you love amber and massive rings this may be the one for you!
