Fully hallmarked in London in 1973 this incredibly glamorous 9ct yellow gold cocktail ring is modelled as a sea anemone. Sexy and sinuous the centre is set with a faceted round 2.50ct golden citrine that is a striking greenish-yellow colour.
The sparkling gemstone is hugged tightly in six claws and framed by tall asymmetric "tentacles" that are accented at the top in gold beads. The tentacles almost appear to sway and their height means that the ring towers tall on the finger.

HALLMARKS: stamped inside the band '9-375' for 9ct gold, 'leopard head' for London, date letter 'S' for 1973 and makers mark 'ATC'

CONDITION: in very good condition showing only light surface wear and the citrine securely set with no chips or abrasions.
