A beautifully feminine and ornate Victorian Revival 9ct gold amethyst & diamond bangle dating from the mid 20th Century.
Lovely attention to detail and workmanship the bangle boasts a row of 11 lavender coloured amethysts slightly graduating in size along the front with 20 twinkling tiny diamonds nestling in between. Ornate gold scrollwork at the top and bottom of the deep front and an elegant V-shape band at the back add to the lovely decoration.
A secure box clasp and safety chain at the side complete this gorgeous bracelet in the birthstone of February, amethysts are considered a stone of protection, clarity and tranquillity.
MATERIAL: 9ct gold, hallmarked
GEMSTONES: Presidium tested, 11 amethysts graduating from approx. 0.15ct to 0.25ct in the centre (approx. 3.50ct total). 20 diamonds approx 0.01cts each
MEASUREMENTS: inner circumference 6-5/8" (17cm). Inner diameter 1-7/8" (4.6cm) front to back, 2-3/8" (6cm) side to side. The front measures 5mm wide and 6mm deep

HALLMARKS: stamped at the clasp '375' & 'anchor' symbol for Birmingham, '375 & Scales' symbol (international convention hallmark) and 'REM' makers mark
CONDITION: in excellent vintage condition with expected light wear and no real flaws.
