Beautifully detailed this adorable little sterling silver brooch is modelled on the Scottish Sword of State along with a round shield decorated in Celtic symbols. A quality piece it dates to the 1950's and is a known design of Iona silversmith Alexander Ritchie although it is simply marked 'silver' behind the shield
