Hallmarked in 1996 this gorgeous vintage sterling silver locket is crafted in an ornate Victorian baroque style and just oozes old world charm.
A quality piece the locket has a delightfully decorative yolk at the top in a feather design that is set in little purple amethysts. The front of the locket is engraved in a classic Lily pattern and the back is personalised with the engraving "To Mari, Love You Always, Paul X".
The locket opens from the side to reveal 2 stations for photos along with a silver picture ring on one side and a plastic template on the other. It suspends from a vintage Italian sterling silver twisted rope chain and the built in bale is a generous size so you will be able to wear this beautiful piece with almost all of your favourite chains.
Steeped in loving sentiment this is a gorgeous vintage pendant necklace through and through and we can't help but wonder who were Mari and Paul and what was their story!

CONDITION: in very, very good condition showing minor surface wear and light tarnish as expected in a vintage locket, it closes with a solid snap.
