A charming vintage Scottish sterling silver thistle wreath brooch set with vibrant purple glass amethysts. Made by Ward Bothers in the 1960's the brooch measures 1-5/8"/4cm across and 1-1/4"/3.5cm top to bottom. It is stamped 'sterling silver' and 'WBs' on the back and weighs 7.2 grams. In excellent vintage condition with no noted flaws.
With all her beautiful detailing this lovely Scottish brooch will sit pretty pinned upon a jacket, scarf or crisp white shirt.
