This fabulous vintage 1960s solid silver love heart locket is generously sized and nice and puffy. It is engraved on the front in fern flourishes and zig zag patterns in geometric lines. Nestling inside is a charming black and white vintage photo of an adorable baby boy which can be easily be replaced with your own pictures should you wish.
This is a good quality locket in fairly heavy gauge silver, it has a sturdy hinge and closes with a nice firm click. It opens from the side to reveal 2 stations, there is a silver picture frame in one side and the other side has a lipped edge so you can tuck photos underneath to anchor them in place. The locket suspends from a high quality 16" (41cm) sterling silver belcher link chain.
This necklace is in very, very good condition, there is a little light surface wear and slight tarnish as you would expect of any used vintage item but nothing untoward. Please see the photos.
