A fine quality genuine antique Scottish silver broad sword (claymore) brooch set with carnelian, bloodstone and amethyst.
Crafted in sterling silver the brooch showcases the superb attention to detail and wonderful engraving that is treasured in these antique examples of Scottish silversmithing. The sword blade is inlaid with striking natural Scottish agates, reflecting the wild and craggy landscape of the Highlands. The sword's silver basket handle encloses a purple Cairngorm amethyst glowing behind decorative silver fretwork.
This is a small brooch, beautifully formed and in lovely condition. Very collectable, it can equally be worn by a man or woman and is perfect the perfect little gift for anyone who loves Scottish culture and heritage. It would make a stylish addition to the grooms tie or lapel in a Scottish themed wedding too!
