A beautifully feminine antique Victorian sterling silver locket with a sunflower or daisy motif that comes with a classic sterling silver old curb chain.
The oval locket is decorated on both sides, the flowers are raised up with engraved tram lines around the head and petals which gives a very pretty puffy 3-D effect to the locket. A pillowed teardrop shaped bale at the top adds to the decorative appeal. The locket opens from the side to reveal 2 fairly deep stations for photos or other precious keepsakes. There are no picture frames inside but there is a slight rim so you could tuck photos underneath if you cut them slightly bigger.
The locket is in good condition with light surface scratches and shallow dents which are a little more obvious due to the silvers high polished mirror finish and we have priced accordingly. The locket closes securely with a satisfying snap. The chain is free flowing with no damage to the links and it fastens with a bolt ring.
A very pretty genuine Victorian necklace and ready to wear right out of the box!
