A wonderful Victorian sterling silver stick pin along with the antique leather fitted box that it was discovered in.
Lovely quality this is sturdy gauge pin so it will accommodate the heaviest of fabrics. The decorative silver top is stepped and dimensional, an engraved flower is framed by turret shaped cut outs, silver milgrain bead work and a scalloped border.
The antique box is from "G.F. Truscott, Goldsmith & Jeweller, Sidmouth and Bideford" which are 2 towns in Kent, England. It's a beauty too, dark blue leather with gold tooling in a fleur-di-lis pattern around the top. Lined it cream satin and velvet it has a push button closure.
A lovely all original antique trifle that would make a perfect gift for the antique jewellery lover!
