An exquisite pair of vintage 18ct yellow gold natural Mediterranean red coral carved rose stud earrings. The coral is a beautiful deep salmon pink colour and the earrings are a fairly large size as studs go. Superb quality the plump coral roses are mounted in custom-made gold settings with large back plates. The posts are threaded and the round fluted backs screw on. A very secure type of fastener for precious earrings and once in place you will never have to worry about losing them.
The earrings are in excellent vintage condition with no noted flaws, just the natural growth lines and tiny mollusc holes you'd expect to see in natural coral. Any dark spots in the gold are reflections. A stunning pair of luxurious precious coral earrings
