A fine quality all original vintage 9ct gold curb chain bracelet complete with a nice large heart padlock clasp and decorative safety chain.
Crafted in a subtle rosy yellow gold this is a solid (not hollow) continuous link bracelet with every link hallmarked '9-375' which is always a sign of a high quality in a British chain. The generously sized heart padlock clasp has matching hallmarks for London in 1966 and is complete with charming keyhole. No key is required to open the padlock, it has a lever at the top that pushes in to open the hasp and it clicks back into position to securely close it.
During the sentimental Victorian and Edwardian eras these romantic heart padlock bracelets were fashionable and enduring engagement gifts and they have never gone out of style. A gorgeous classic solid gold bracelet that you will want to wear forever!

HALLMARKS: stamped '9-375' on every link and the end rings. Padlock stamped '9-375', 'leopards head' for London, date letter '1' for 1966 and makers mark 'R.B. Ltd.' on the back. Also stamped '9-375' on the padlock hasp
MEASUREMENTS: 7-1/2" (19cm) length. Links measure 8.5x5.5mm and 1.5mm thick. The heart padlock clasp measures 1" (2.5cm) tall and 5/8" (1.6cm) wide. The safety chain is 2-1/2" (6.5cm) long
