A beautiful and substantial antique Victorian sapphire and diamond starry band ring crafted in luxurious 18ct buttery yellow gold. As an added treat this ring bears good clear hallmarks for Chester that date it to 1901. Chester assay office closed its doors forever in 1962 resulting in these historical hallmarks becoming collectible and desirable.
This ring is in a larger finger size and features a line of 5 gently graduating natural diamonds and sapphires set into the front. The sparkling white diamonds are mounted into bright-cut star settings with the mid-cornflower blue sapphires nestled in bright-cut square settings. Decorative curvy triangular cut-outs adorn the top and bottom and the shoulders are carved in decorative arrow motifs.
A high quality piece with lots of attention to detailing this elegant ring is crafted in fairly heavy gauge gold, it's not thin and delicate and good for everyday wear
