This ravishing true period antique ring showcases a beautiful vivid blue Zircon mounted in a bright white platinum setting, a simple yellow gold band completes this classic beauty that's iconic of the Art Deco era.
The lively turquoise-blue Zircon is the colour of tropical seas and it is super sparkly. The gemstone is set into an elegant tall crown platinum mount secured with sets of double claws and framed by arrow motifs at the sides which are decorated in faceted bead detail and 'X' kiss motifs. These sparkling milligrain shoulders lead to a slim D-shaped gold band.
Not to be confused with a synthetic lab-grown Cubic Zirconia, the Zircon is an important earth-mined gemstone prized since ancient times, it has a very high refractive index that creates a unequalled brilliance and sparkle.
