Quintessentially Edwardian, this beautiful antique rolled gold locket engraved on the front in a graceful floral vine motif set with real pearls and tiny genuine rubies. It is crafted in a perfect circle with an elegant slim profile and the rolled gold is a subtle rose gold colour, a gorgeous shade characteristic of old gold.
The locket opens from the side to reveal 2 generously sized stations for your precious photos which can be tucked underneath the rims around the edge to keep them safely in place. It benefits from a large heavy duty suspension ring at the top and we have added a rose gold vermeil (gold plated sterling silver) belcher chain to complete the classic look. Our chains are made in Italy, they are high quality and fully hallmarked, with their elegant round links the belcher is a favourite antique style chain.

MEASUREMENTS: the locket stands 1-1/2" (4cm) tall measured with the ring and it is 1" (2.7cm) across, the chain is 18" (45cm)

WEIGHT: Total weight 12.3 grams (locket 9.4 grams, chain 2.9 grams)
CONDITION: in very good antique condition with expected signs of age and surface scratches but nothing untoward, there is no wearing away of the thick gold layer, the engraving is still lovely and crisp. Please see the photos, and excuse the dark shadows. The locket closes securely with a solid click.
