This exquisite antique sterling silver necklace showcases a fringe of 22 misty ethereal moonstones with an incredible blue adularescence shimmering through each and every one of them.
Rendered in sterling silver the necklace features a row of 12 round graduated moonstones forming a collar at the front then 10 graduated moonstone drops dangle beneath. All the drops are oval shaped apart from the first and last drop which are round. Lovely attention to detail and gorgeous design. The gemstones are open backed and hand set into custom made silver collets. No two moonstones are exactly identical in shape and size making every single cabochon unique.
An elegant silver belcher chain with oval links completes this stunning antique necklace. The length of the necklace is 17" (44cm) but if you would like to wear it a little shorter, don't fret, we will remove some of the small chain links for you

GEMSTONES: Presidium tested, 22 moonstones, cabochon cut graduating from 12.5x10.5mm the largest oval to 5.5mm diameter for the small round ones at the end.

CONDITION: in beautiful antique condition, the moonstones have beautiful natural mist like inclusions and an incredible blue shimmer as they catch the light, difficult to pick up with the camera. The moonstone cabochons are all securely set within the silver settings, the drops are securely connected and the chain is perfect. The silver is beautiful with a burnished steely grey antique patina.
