A beautiful antique Victorian hand-carved Sodalite gemstone heart pendant set into a 15ct yellow gold traditional 'spectacle' style setting.
The opaque natural stone is a deep violet blue and carved into a perfectly plump heart shape with a gently pillowed profile. The discreet gold wire setting keeps all the attention focused firmly on this lovely specimen with the pendant finished in an oval shaped fine gold jump ring that is safely soldered closed.
Sodalite, sometimes known as the Poets Stone, is thought to improve clarity, wisdom and instill calm. Steeped in mysticism and romance this striking Victorian love heart pendant will make quite the statement paired with an elegant gold chain to match her character.
