A beautiful and very feminine antique Victorian 15ct yellow gold turquoise and pearl band ring, a classic gemstone and colour combination. Hallmarked in Chester in 1892 this ring is very collectible too, Chester assay office closed its doors forever in 1962 resulting in these historical hallmarks becoming sought after.
A dainty half hoop style the ring is crafted in warm rosy antique gold and is set in 3 small round bright blue turquoise gemstones in square settings. The turquoise are accented in between by 2 rows of tiny seed pearls. Curved cut-out semi circles decorate the top and bottom giving the ring a lovely scalloped outline.
A classic Victorian ring this ring looks beautiful on the hand and is perfect for wearing on its own or stacking alongside other antique rings.

DATE: Victorian, dated 1892
CONDITION: in good antique condition, with expected surface wear and light age related tarnish behind the stones. The band has worn slightly thinner and one pearl looks fractionally larger than its neighbours, the pearl looks original, rather than a replacement, so it may have always been this way. This ring has been professionally cleaned and polished, so it's ready to wear or give as a gift. Please see the photos.
