A lovely quality antique Victorian yellow rolled gold fob pendant set with a vibrant amethyst glass 3-sided paste stone that spins. The bracket features oval chain links and it has a generous hanging loop at the top that will happily accommodate most chains.
Rolled gold (gold filled) jewellery is made by mechanically bonding a layer of gold over a base metal. Significantly thicker than gold plating (the gold layer is at least 1/20 of the overall metal content by weight), it is quality finish saturated in colour that will retain its golden lustre.
A classic Victorian fob, this piece was once worn on a watch chain, you could wear as originally intended or wear her as a pendant which you will love and spin to your hearts content!
