Hailing from the Victorian Aesthetic era in Britain this wide sterling silver cuff bracelet is beautifully decorated on the front with engraved grasses and applied birds and butterflies in yellow and rose gold. A row of silver beads accents the top and the bottom at the front and the back is left plain with a high polish.
An absolute classic of the era and high quality the bracelet is solidly constructed on the oval with rolled edges for comfort. It is hinged at the side to open it and it has a hidden shovel clasp with a push button to fasten it.

CONDITION: very, very good condition with general surface wear as expected in an antique piece, the scratches you see in the macro close-up photos aren't visible to the naked eye. The engraving is still lovely and crisp and the clasp is in perfect working order. There are minor dents in the back of the bracelet and signs of an old silver soldered repair to the rolled edge on the inside (which isn't visible on the outside) and there has been a stamped hallmark where the repair is but it is unreadable now.
