An iconic 1930s sterling silver statement ring featuring a very large vibrant earthy orange coral cabochon surrounded by twinkling marcasite stones.
The Mediterranean coral is nicely polished and framed in a decorative saw tooth silver collar with a boat shaped under gallery that hugs the finger, adding to the interest. The ring is hallmarked on the outside of the shank, at the back, a characteristic typically seen in some Eastern European and Arabic countries as well as France.
Lovely attention to detail and fabulous quality the ring is knuckle length and is in good antique condition. As to be expected in a 90 year old ring there are minor surface scratches to the coral. There is a little chipping and aged tarnish around some of the marcasites, but nothing detrimental, please refer to photos.
