A fantastic vintage English sterling silver ID bracelet with nice clear hallmarks for London in 1978. The bracelet is also stamped with a lion passant for sterling throughout the links, always a sign of a top quality chain.
Nice and chunky and in beautiful vintage condition the long thick silver name plate on the front is monogram free and ready to personalise with an engraved name - or not. The thick curb links are solid (not hollow) and soldered for strength. The bracelet fastens with a heavy duty bolt/spring ring.
A fabulous authentic retro bracelet that is right on-trend, great to have an original version that is dated! An absolute classic, perfect for layering with other bracelets or wearing alone as a signature piece.

MEASUREMENTS: 7-1/2" (19cm) long, front panel 2-1/4" (5.6cm) long 1/2" (1.5cm) wide, links 9x6mm, clasp 9mm diameter
WEIGHT: 16.6 grams
HALLMARKS: stamped on back of the panel, 'lion passant' for sterling, 'leopard' for London, date letter 'D' for 1978 and makers mark 'RGS' also stamped with lion passant on some links.
CONDITION: in very, very good vintage condition with a light surface scratches as you would expect in a silver bracelet this age, the clasp is in perfect working order. Please see the photos and excuse the dark areas which are camera reflection (the bracelet has high polished finish so it is difficult to photograph).
