A fabulous 1930s solid sterling silver dress clip depicting the Roman god Cupid or perhaps his Greek counterpart Eros. This striking jazz baby beauty is a statement size and just screams Art Deco glamour!
A well cast piece and beautifully modelled with great detailing the clip is stamped "Keim Ltd. London on the back. It isn't marked for silver content and we have acid tested to confirm it is solid sterling silver throughout including the hinged fastener. Keim exhibited at the 1947 British Industries Fair in Olympia, London where they were listed as "Manufacturers of High Class Dress Accessories"
Plenty of versatility this distinctive piece is a fab way to connect you to Art Deco fashion, it looks great clipped to a breast pocket or use it to add pizzazz to your scarves and pashminas, very collectible too!
