This beautiful vintage 1950s English rolled gold locket engraved in a very pretty floral forget-me-not spray pattern surrounded by a diamond cut border that adds a lovely sparkle. The top is finished in a reeded fan shaped bale adding to the lovely decoration.
The locket opens from the side to reveal two unused compartments for photos along with the picture rings, liners and clear plastic covers.
The locket is stamped 'Rolled Gold" on the back. Rolled gold (gold filled) jewellery is made by mechanically bonding a thick sleeve of solid gold over a strong metal core. It is a high quality finish that looks and wears like real gold but it won't break the bank!
We have added a new Italian 18" gold plated sterling silver anchor chain with diamond cut links that complement the locket. This lovely antique style classic locket is ready to wear right out of the box, she is the perfect small to medium size too so is ideal for daily wear.
