Superb quality with exceptional engraving this beautiful vintage English silver bangle bears hallmarks for the year 1965, so plenty of age on it too.
Made by the R P H Jewellery Co who were located in Birmingham's historic jewellery district it is Victorian in style and heavy. Crafted on the oval in thick gauge silver it is engraved on the front in a beautiful floral pattern with the back left plain. Lovely attention to detail it also has engraved sunrise motifs at the hinge and clasp. A silver safety chain completes this lovely piece.
The bracelet is in very, very good vintage condition showing only light wear and faint surface scratches as you might expect in a solid silver bangle this age. The clasp in perfect working order closing with a solid snap.
Classically English this type of bracelet has been popular since Victorian times, they were a popular milestone or love token gift and were often personalized with engraved names or initials on the plain back or inside.
