Superb quality 9 carat rolled gold (gold filled) vintage bangle by Lawson, Ward and Gammage a London based goldsmiths that has been producing bespoke (custom) fine jewellery since 1861, and is still family run firm.
Hailing from the late Art Deco era the front of the bracelet is adorned with guilloche engraved patterns in a neoclassical Greek Revival pattern with the back silky smooth, it is hinged and closes with a tongue and groove clasp.
Condition is excellent showing little sign of age and no wear to the gold layer (any marks are camera shadow). This bracelet is heavy and looks, wears and feels like solid gold.
Measures 5/8" wide with an interior circumference of 7-1/2" and has a safety chain. Stamped inside "L.W. & G 9ct GOLD BRONZE CORE LAGARMIC" " the bracelet has a bronze core with a fused 9K gold sleeve which gives strength and a lasting durability. Weighs 34.25 grams.
