A beautiful Victorian era pendant from the Aesthetic movement of around 1880-1890. The pendant is oval in shape with silver beads around the edging. The centre is raised and engraved in a little pansy flower framed by an shadowed border decorated in ivy leaf motifs. In the Victorian language of flowers the ivy symbolises everlasting love and the pansy means "think of me"
We have added a vintage Italian sterling silver curb chain so this little antique beauty is ready to wear right out of the box, the perfect love token gift!
MATERIALS: sterling silver throughout
MEASUREMENTS: pendant 1" (2.5cm) tall, 5/8" wide (1.5cm), 1.4mm thick, the chain measures 18" (46cm)
HALLMARKS: none and we have fully tested to confirm as sterling silver (the chain is stamped '925' and 'Italy')
WEIGHT: 2.2 grams total

CONDITION: in beautiful antique condition with expected signs of age and light surface wear
