A beautiful antique Victorian Aesthetic era solid silver bangle bearing good clear hallmarks for the year 1889. Exquisitely hand engraved on the front in a romantic rose and forget-me-not design (the rose speaks of true love and the forget-me-not speaks for itself!), the back is left plain.
Not too wide and crafted on the oval with rolled edges for strength and comfort it opens up fully on a hinge and closes with a hidden shovel clasp that closes securely with a satisfying click. It is worn close fitting so best suited to a slim or small average wrist.
A fabulously feminine and elegant Victorian bangle, perfect for adding a little antique pizazz to your stacking.

MEASUREMENTS: measures 3/4" (2cm) wide. Inside circumference is 6-1/2" (16.5cm) around. Internally it measures 2-1/8" (5.5cm) from hinge to clasp and 2" (5cm) front to back.

CONDITION: In very good condition with minor surface wear, light scratches and signs of use. Some tarnish in the hard to reach areas.
