A lovely quality 9ct gold vintage Art Deco style 3-stone trilogy ring hallmarked for Charles Lyster & Sons, Edinburgh. Trilogy rings represent past, present and future and they are a popular choice for engagement and anniversary rings.
Circa 1970, the ring is an absolute classic and features a beautiful vivid pink ruby that has natural inclusions between 2 bright white sapphires which, we did think were diamonds, until we tested them. The stones are bezel set into solid cups that are open at the back and underneath the gallery to let the light shine through enhancing the sparkle even more.
A solidly built ring that will stand up to daily wear without a care the thick slightly graduated shoulders lead to a D-profile comfort band. A gorgeous gem that would make a wonderful engagement ring, it looks stunning paired with a slim gold band. Perfect for a ruby anniversary and looks lovely stacked with other antique style rings. Will arrive in the antique style octagonal box as shown, perfect for presentation!
MATERIALS: 9ct yellow gold
GEMSTONES: Presidium tested, 1 ruby measuring roughly 1/3ct, 2 white sapphires slightly smaller at 1/4ct each
MEASUREMENTS: gemstone spread across the front measures 11.2mm side to side, 4.7mm top to bottom and sits 4.3mm from the finger. Shoulders 3mm sloping to a band with of 2mm at the back
SIZE: US 7-1/2, UK P, EU 56 with sizing available for an additional fee
HALLMARKS: Stamped '375' for 9ct, 'scales-375' international quality control mark, 'castle' for Edinburgh and makers mark 'CL&S'
