You would be forgiven for thinking this beautiful 9ct yellow gold & turquoise marquise ring hails from the Victorian era but with good clear hallmarks for London, 1979 she is very much a marvelous revival piece that will fit today's larger fingers.
Neoclassical in design the ring features 4 gorgeous duck egg blue oval shaped turquoise cabochons set north to south and east to west. The vibrant gemstones are set into crowned bezel cups around an openwork centre accented in gold bead work. To add to the ornate old world decoration the V-shaped shoulders are engraved in a pretty leaf design that graduates to a plain gold band fairly thick band.
A quality piece and exceedingly pretty this feminine vintage ring provides wonderful finger cover and perfectly captures the romanticism of Victorian era jewellery.
