A beautiful vintage sterling silver belt & buckle bangle bracelet bearing full British hallmarks for 1977.
A quality piece, oval in shape, it is constructed in thick gauge silver and engraved on the front in a pretty flower & foliage design. The bangle is hinged at the side (3/4 of the way around) and opens by squeezing the sides to release the prong and the buckle part flips up.
A popular jewellery decoration since Victorian times the belt & buckle motif speaks of security and unbroken bonds of love, this charming symbolism makes for a meaningful token of affection. Not to mention buckle bracelets are timeless classics that never go out of style!
