A beautiful, super quality,statement sized vintage English sterling silver cross necklace hallmarked in 1975.
Crafted in a 'cross bottony' design the cross is beautifully decorative with the arms embellished in trefoil motifs and the body engraved in swirling flourishes. It has a generous fan shaped bale at the top and suspends from a diamond cut curb link chain that adds to the lovely sparkle. The chain is heavy duty with soldered end rings so it's nice and robust for daily wear.
Steeped in devotional charm, the cross bottony is said to symbolise both Jesus and the Trinity, this lovely sterling silver cross necklace with its gorgeous detailing is the perfect statement piece!
