This superb vintage Indian sterling silver necklace showcases 26 moonstones with an intense blue adularescence. These beautiful gemstones are full of natural cloudy inclusions making each and every one one unique, little wonder the moonstone is known as the stone of dreams in India where the most valued of moonstones are found.
This is a quality piece and beautifully made with attention given to extra detailing. The moonstones are cut into marquise, pear and square cabochons, the connecting rings are decorated with silver beads, the cable chain benefits from an extender and the necklace fastens with a decorative 'S' hook.
A beautiful necklace through and through and fairly robust. It is said if you give your lover a moonstone necklace when the moon is full you will always have passion for each other!

CONDITION: in excellent vintage condition, the moonstones have beautiful natural mist like inclusions and an incredible blue shimmer as they catch the light, difficult to pick up with the camera. The moonstone cabochons are all securely set and the chain is perfect.
