This vintage sterling silver Scottish medal was awarded to the winner of the junior Highland Fling competition in 1954 and it makes for a unique necklace pendant. It is a fantastic fob to attach to a pocket watch chain too, perhaps you might even wear it to a Scottish wedding!
Beautifully detailed in a nice large size and heavy the pendant has a Scottish dancer in the centre framed in a decorative embossed border of shamrock, thistle and rose motifs. The reverse is engraved "A.H.S. 1st. Junior Highland Fling 1954". The Highland Fling is a traditional Scottish dance performed every year at Highland Games events held in Scotland.
The pendant is topped in a heavy duty silver jump ring and can be purchased with or without the new Italian sterling silver mini Belcher chain.
