This charming vintage 1960s English sterling silver Victorian style locket is decorated in pretty floral and fern engraving on the front and features puffy repousse work around the edge that gives the locket a lovely scalloped outline.
Crafted in an elegant oval shape the locket has a fan shaped fluted bale on the top and it opens from the side to reveal 2 stations for photos. The picture frames inside are fixed in place so photos simply tuck under the rims to hold them in place.
We have added a new Italian sterling silver fine curb chain so this lovely locket is ready to wear right out of the box. The ideal medium size for daily wear, it will make a perfect vintage jewellery gift for a loved one or a nice little treat for yourself.

MEASUREMENTS: locket 1-1/2" (4cm) tall from the top of the bale to the bottom of the locket, 5/8" (2.2cm) wide, 5.5mm deep. Chain 16" (40cm)
HALLMARKS: stamped 'silver' (an older British mark for sterling) on the back of the locket. Chain stamped '925'

CONDITION: In very good condition with light surface scratches and minor wear commensurate with age. Closes tightly and securely with a solid click.
