They measure around 8.5mm in diameter and are hand-knotted on silk cord with the ends finished in silver French wire and. The necklace fastens in an elegant ribbed round ball and joint sterling silver clasp.
In fabulous condition, perfect in their imperfection the pearls are free of surface damage just showing the natural irregularities and ridges expected in freshwater pearls. The silk shows no signs of deterioration and is still beautifully white. The silver clasp is in perfect working order.
