Hailing from the Art Deco era an outstanding and rare Kollmar & Jourdan of Pforzheim, Germany antique 14ct rolled gold snake bangle. A bright yellow gold mesh body coils around the wrist with the white gold head of the snake crossing over the tail.
Beautifully modelled the head and tail are embossed in realistic scales. The snake's open mouth tightly grasps a translucent white chalcedony bead that is pegged securely in place. Snake jewellery represents everlasting love and loyalty. Bursting with sentiment this beautiful quality bangle is perfect for adding a little romance to your day. Rolled gold (gold filled) jewellery is made by mechanically bonding a layer of gold over a base metal. Significantly thicker than gold plating (rolled gold by weight is 1/5th solid gold), it is quality finish saturated in colour that looks like real gold jewellery but it won't break the bank!
